Golden Globes 2014

Amy Adams wins my indifferent award. I don't hate it, but I don't love her in this Valentino Haute Couture. Not everyone could pull off this dress, but Amy Adams has the perfect body for it. I'm just not blown away by a halter top, deep V, color block dress. I would have loved to see her in a 70's inspired gold gown.

Everyone was shocked to see Gloria, I mean, Sofia Vergara in a ballgown. She has been rocking the same mermaid dress over and over again. I, personally, didn't have a problem with it. When you know what works, do it. But I do like that she kept her signature turquoise jewelry with this look.

Paula Patton looks like she threw her towel over her shoulder and is heading to the pool. And why is no one talking about her hair? It looks like she just got off a moped. She could have done so much better. Paula wins my worst dressed look.

Emma Roberts has my best dressed award, for so many reasons. This dress is classic and amazing on her. It was tailored perfectly and the turquoise earrings were the perfect pop of color. Now that she is engaged, she needed to mature her look a bit. She nailed it with this Lanvin dress.

I have no idea what happened here. Sarah Hyland usually looks like a Grecian Goddess on the red carpet. She still has her Grecian hair, but this Georges Hobeika Couture dress is just awkward on her. The color is too washed out. She needs a bright color against her dark hair. The sleeveless and drop-waist aspects are just not killin it for me.

I love Parks and Rec. I love everyone in the show and everything that happens with the show. I especially love Aubrey Plaza in this Oscar de la Renta color block gown. The colors are amazing, the shoes are a perfect complement, and the clutch was just the right shade of pink to "go" with the dress. This was one of my favorite looks from the event.

Insane. Kate Beckinsale looks stupid amazing in this Zuhair Murad Couture dress. The hair is perfect, the earrings are perfect, and the clutch is perfect. Nailed it. Want to know who her stylist is? Taylor Jacobson. She happens to also be the force behind Naya Rivera's amazing looks.

Underwhelming. I'm sorry, you're the star of a nominated show and you decide to wear this nightgown to the Globes? Eeehhmm, no. Taylor Schilling should have shown up in something jaw-dropping. This dress makes me want to fall asleep.

Dynamic. Movie star. Fantastic. Julianna Margulies won me over in this Andrew Gn black gown. This is what Taylor Schilling should have worn. This is the perfect red carpet dress. If I had to pick out something, I would have added a killer necklace. Aside from that, perfection!
